A fun store

I enjoy this place. It's the kind of pet store i would run. There are often some of the owner's pets running around the store to greet the customers. So far, i've met the black rooster, a white-ish/tan duck, a huge land tortoise, several gentle and freindly cats, and a little black weiner dog. All of them just freely walk about the store, perfectly ok with all the other animals about. And there ARE a bunch of other animals. Besides all the wonderful fish, they have kittens and puppies, squirrels, ferrets, chinchillas, sugar gliders, hedgehogs, groundhogs, bunnies, birds, spiders, lizards, turtles, snakes, and on and on....

So, back to the fish! They have a very good selection of freshwater fish. The fish room is mainly comprised of a bunch of 20 gallon breader tanks, fully stocked, with a nice and healthy selection of tropical and cold water fish. They do also have saltwater fish. Last time i was there some of the fish weren't all that impressive, and the corals needed more light. This is due to limited staff knowledge on saltwater, and i don't hold it against them. But, they are looking for expereinced saltwater people, and they do understand the love of animal care. So, they're trying. I still enjoy coming here when i can.
