I had to find a new home for my bird and this place is so incredible. They made me feel like everything was going to be okay as I was really upset. You people are great! thank you so much for doing what you do.

what a piece of crap
January 6, 2011 by Anonomous Aquarist

Not impressed with the lack of disrespect that the older gal and the lady with red hair show to their employees if you don't know how to run a buisness then don't and leave it to someone who can if you can't treat your employees right then don't hire anyone and run the damn thing yourself
last time I was in there this young man was getting screamed at by the older gal about what a sugar glider is going to eat or something to that affect slamming her hands down hard on the shopping cart broke my heart for the poor kid
I WILL NEVER!! reccomend them to anyone and I most certainly will never step foot in there ever again ! not to mention but I seriously hope that young man quit and told the older gal where she could get off noone should be treated like that if I were him I would be calling L&I on their asses

This store sucks
December 5, 2010 by Anonomous Aquarist

I will never go back here again. Its overpriced and smells bad. There are animals running around and they poo on the floor. I got bad advice from them. I bought a pacman frog and she said I should put him in sand. I noticed my frog was scratch at his eyes. I read online that sand can cause eye infections. I went in today to donate 5 large fish and asked if I could possibly get a small discount on some new smaller fish. She started yelling at me in front of everyone saying she was doing me a favor my taking my fish. This was so embaressing. A simple no would have worked. My fish were beautiful healthy fish. She is going to sell them for $24.99 each. So now I'm confused as to how me giving her $125 worth of free fish was her doing me a favor.

Very Dirty!

The smell of urine as you walk in the door takes your breath away. There is poop on the floor which is tracked all over by the other animals and customers! I can't believe people would buy a pet from these conditions

not a customer anymore
September 11, 2010 by Anonomous Aquarist

I've seen on numerous occasions the owner screaming at employees on the sales floor. I have been a customer for about a year now, and I kept going back because they have decent prices. But this last time, I had my children with me and I heard Cindy yelling profanity at the employee. I will never step foot in that place again. I will not pay money to a company that treats people like that, and I do not want my children hearing that language and violence at a pet store!

A fun store

I enjoy this place. It's the kind of pet store i would run. There are often some of the owner's pets running around the store to greet the customers. So far, i've met the black rooster, a white-ish/tan duck, a huge land tortoise, several gentle and freindly cats, and a little black weiner dog. All of them just freely walk about the store, perfectly ok with all the other animals about. And there ARE a bunch of other animals. Besides all the wonderful fish, they have kittens and puppies, squirrels, ferrets, chinchillas, sugar gliders, hedgehogs, groundhogs, bunnies, birds, spiders, lizards, turtles, snakes, and on and on....

So, back to the fish! They have a very good selection of freshwater fish. The fish room is mainly comprised of a bunch of 20 gallon breader tanks, fully stocked, with a nice and healthy selection of tropical and cold water fish. They do also have saltwater fish. Last time i was there some of the fish weren't all that impressive, and the corals needed more light. This is due to limited staff knowledge on saltwater, and i don't hold it against them. But, they are looking for expereinced saltwater people, and they do understand the love of animal care. So, they're trying. I still enjoy coming here when i can.
